Senior Resource Lawyers Mix with Industry Leaders

Carter Newell's leading resource lawyers, Bronwyn Clarkson and James Plumb, Senior Associate, recently returned from the Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association's (AMPLA) annual conference held in Adelaide earlier this month.
Bronwyn and James joined a strong contingent of Queensland attendees at the conference discussing important resource issues such as:
Through involvement in industry education programs Bronwyn and James are able to provide well balanced and strategic advice to our resource clients by taking into consideration the issues affecting the industry.
Bronwyn is a regular speaker at industry events and James is an active member of AMPLA where is currently sits on the Queensland committee. James also recently returned from the Australian Gas Industry Trust’s (AGIT) 2008 Overseas Study Tour to Europe. This experience has provided James with valuable international knowledge and he will in the coming months prepare a paper and a presentation on the findings of the study tour.
